My name is Cobi Goldberg
I am currently a Senior at Temple University. My Major is in Media Studies and Production, with a Music Minor. I am currently practicing my skills as a music producer, as a recording engineer, and a mixing engineer. Online I go by the name Jay Taewon, a combination of my first name, Jacob, and my middle name, Taewon.
About Me.
Music production has been a hobby of mine since I was in high school. When searching for colleges, I realized that I wanted a career in music production and the industry. My first declared major was a B.S. in Music Technology, however, I realized that I wanted more industry involvement and applications so I changed my major to Media Studies and Production. I'm really happy with this change, and look forward to finishing my B.A in Media Studies and Production.
My favorite genre of music is EDM, this is the genre that inspired me to start producing music in the first place. I currently listen to a lot more pop, k-pop, and k-RnB when I'm just relaxing, but my gym playlists contain my EDM favorites. Regarding production, I have been experimenting with many different genres in order to learn and practice more production techniques. Although EDM is still my favorite since that is the genre I started off learning and what I'm most comfortable with.
Some hobbies of mine include playing tennis, volleyball, and video games. I played Junior Varsity and Varsity tennis for my high school. I started to play volleyball about a few years ago. My favorite video games currently include Lethal Company, Cyberpunk 2077, and Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
